1. Programme Structure
The topic will be on Music and Culture. We know this is a good topic since all
youth listen to some form of music and the media is a very controversial topic
for everyone.

2. Conventions we will Use
• Astons – To show who the presenters are
• Voxpops – To gain public opinion about the topic
• Mode Of Address – Will be slightly informal but still
look professional and laid back
• Mise en scene – We will be focusing on using the
right background for the interviews and voxpops
• Cutaway – When the correspondent talks
about the topic in detail, we will use cutaways
to change the shot to something relevant.

3. What will be in the show
• Start of the show: Tarik And Celine welcome the
viewers of the show and talk about what to expect
during the show
• Tarik introduces the topic and Celine will introduce the
guests for the interview and ask them questions.
• After the interview we will have a mini discussion of
how we feel about the impact of music and the media.
• After said discussion I will introduce how we shouldn’t
just have grown up discussions and that we went to
show voxpops of some youth concerning the topic.

4. How has show analysis influenced what
conventions we will have in the show?
• My own analysis of ‘The one show’ helped
influence what conventions to include by
showing helping me know what to put into
the show to make it look more professional.
Also the reasons why I didn’t like showed me
what was missing and what we could put in
the show to make it more interesting for
people our age.
