New Gate Hours
Effective Friday, June 24, the following changes/maintaining
status at JBM-HH gates will take place and be in effect until further
notice:
* Fort McNair’s Ceremonial Gate on P Street Southwest,Washington,
D.C., (change) will be closed to vehicular traffic; the pedestrian gate
here will be open only to Fort McNair residents and DoD ID card
holders requiring 24/7 JFHQ-NCR/MDW mission access.
Effective Tuesday, July 5, the following changes/maintaining
status will take place and be in effect until further notice:
* Wright Gate (maintaining) on Marshall Drive at Meade Street,just
off Route 110, will continue to be open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. to
DoD-and federally-affiliatedID card holders only.
* Henderson Hall’s Gate 1 at South Orme Street and Southgate Road
(change) – will be open from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday;
and Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to DoD- and
federally-affiliatedID card holders only.
* Hatfield Gate (maintaining) at Fort Myer and 2nd Street Gate at
Fort McNair will remain open 24/7.
JBM-HH Visitor Control Center hours are: Fort Myer, Building 415,
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Fort McNair, Building
65 (immediatelyinside 2nd Street Gate) – Open Tuesday and
Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 703-696-8968 for more
