The Central/Ceremonial Issue Facility has new hours starting January 1st, 2016. On Mondays and Thursdays, it is open from 7am to 11am for walk-ins without equipment and walk-ins with equipment on a first come, first served basis, and from 12:30pm to 1pm for walk-ins with or without equipment. It is also open from 1pm to 3pm on those days for direct exchanges for Old Guard Soldiers. On Tuesdays, it is open from 7am to 11am and closed from 12pm to 3pm. The Central/Ceremonial Issue Facility, Building 313 on the Fort Myer
portion of Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, has new hours effective Jan. 1,
actually increasing customer service time by one hour. Here is a day by day
schedule for a week:
Monday - 7 to 11 a.m. - Walk-ins (no equipment); and walk-ins with or
without equipment, first come, first served; and from noon to 12:30 p.m. -
Walk-ins with or without equipment, first come, first served; from 1 to 3
p.m. - direct exchange (The Old Guard Soldiers have priority for direct
exchanges Monday and Thursday afternoons.
Tuesday - 7 to 11 a.m. - Walk-ins (no equipment); and walk-ins with or
without equipment, first come, first served; from noon to 3 p.m. - Closed
for new Soldier preparation and administrative time.
Wednesday - Closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. New Soldier Inprocessing
only.
Thursday - 7 to 11 a.m. - Walk-ins (no equipment); and walk-ins with or
without equipment, first come, first served; and from noon to 12:30 p.m. -
Walk-ins with or without equipment, first come, first served; from 1 to 3
p.m. - direct exchange (The Old Guard Soldiers have priority for direct

classification and Supply and Support Activity.
When capacity is met, the doors to the CIF will be closed for the day; no
customer with equipment will be serviced less than 30 minutes prior to
closing.
