Editor's Notes
Sana does not only offer a very strong e-commerce product. We can also help you with all services to make your online store a success. Like implementation services. Design. E-marketing services like SEO and campaign management. And of course hosting services.
Let me tell you why Sana is different from any other e-commerce solution.
The reason to start with Sana is that we think that since you’ve invested a lot in setting up your Dynamics system, you shouldn’t invest again in a complex webshop system. Sana is installed within your Dynamics system, allowing the webshop to directly use the information and calculations which are already in your ERP, real-time. Since we’re in Dynamics, we certified our solution for your assurance.

‘Classic’ e-commerce systems run autonomously, meaning that they store and process all data themselves. This means that a lot of information needs to be synchronized between de database of the ERP and the database of the e-commerce system using complex interfaces.
And a big part of the ERP system needs to be rebuild in the e-commerce platform.
Besides, this setup results in two systems that need to be managed and maintained: both the ERP and the webshop. Every time you change something in the ERP, you will have to change the e-commerce platform as well, and of course all interfaces.
So when you use classic e-commerce systems, you are doing a lot of work twice. Which of course is very inefficient.
Sana is different. Sana does not calculate prices or stores orders – Sana uses the ERP for that, integrally. Sana renders the shop and its content, and uses the ERP for all business (master) data and calculations. One single source for business info, one single place to maintain.
Since a Sana webshop shows the ERP information integrally, for instance a price change in your ERP immediately results in a price change in your webshop. It’s that easy.
And the order in your webshop, is exactly the same as in your ERP, including all price calculations, discounting rules and other pricing rules that your ERP applies.
Sana Commerce is unique. Compared to any other e-commerce solution that interfaces and therefore synchronizes its data. Sana is less complex, quicker to install and easier to maintain.
Let’s have a look at the return on investment of classic, synchronized webshops. These projects usually start with a complex interfacing project to get the ERP connected to the e-commerce platform. This is always very expensive and takes a lot of time. Besides that the maintenance costs of such a project are very high, because you have to manage two systems. Combined with the fact that the start of making revenue is delayed, the ROI takes very long.
In comparison, Sana is installed quicker against lower costs. Go Live is earlier. And thanks to the simplicity of the integrated architecture, running costs are much lower, resulting in a very quick return on investment.
Combined, the ROI of the integrated Sana webshop is much quicker compared to the ROI of a classic, interfaced webhop.
