- Let me tell you why Sana is different from any other e-commerce solution.
- The reason to start with Sana is that we think that since you’ve invested a lot in setting up your Dynamics system, you shouldn’t invest again in a complex webshop system. Sana is installed within your Dynamics system, allowing the webshop to directly use the information and calculations which are already in your ERP, real-time. Since we’re in Dynamics, we certified our solution for your assurance.
- The reason to start with Sana is that we think that since you’ve invested a lot in setting up your Dynamics system, you shouldn’t invest again in a complex webshop system. Sana is installed within your Dynamics system, allowing the webshop to directly use the information and calculations which are already in your ERP, real-time. - ‘Classic’ e-commerce systems run autonomously, meaning that they store and process all data themselves. This means that a lot of information needs to be synchronized between de database of the ERP and the database of the e-commerce system using complex interfaces. And a big part of the ERP system needs to be rebuild in the e-commerce platform. Besides, this setup results in two systems that need to be managed and maintained: both the ERP and the webshop. Every time you change something in the ERP, you will have to change the e-commerce platform as well, and of course all interfaces. So when you use classic e-commerce systems, you are doing a lot of work twice. Which of course is very inefficient.
- Sana is different. Sana does not calculate prices or stores orders – Sana uses the ERP for that, integrally. Sana renders the shop and its content, and uses the ERP for all business (master) data and calculations. One single source for business info, one single place to maintain.
