• Our development plans for 2015-2017 for UNIT4 Dream are guided by a

• For Dream, integration and interoperability is a key requirement, so our
future development is extending the capabilities to integrate Dream with
other systems in a secure and reliable way, by taking advantage of the
unique Link architecture and the interoperability provided by the
comprehensive web services and API capabilities that already exist.
12. Dream 3.6 (H2 2015)
• Version 3.6 (H2 2015)
• This release will deliver the ability for customer/user to create their own
customised menus (with the appropriate security) through a Menu Designer.
Processes that will be available with some shipped default Forms will be Audit
Functions and a selection of Masters.
• As a minimum, this version will deliver the following components:
Menu/Toolbar Designer
Masters in the “new” User Interface
A Masters Maintenance Process (similar to the Audit Manager
Process)
Process Security (akin to Menu Security)
Nominals and Accounts delivered as a minimum, but possibly other
Masters functions also
Shipped at release with some default Forms as no Forms designer will
exist at this point (see Version 3.7)
As they are XML, UNIT4 R&D or UNIT4 Consulting could customise incremental
Forms if required
13. Dream 3.7 (H1 2017)
• This release will deliver the ability for customer/users to create their own
customised Forms for execution from the previously customised menus. The
Forms will benefit from the ability to execute a Dream process or processes as
they become available in each release.
• As a minimum, this version will support the Form execution of processes for
Audit Manager, Masters (minimum Nominals and Accounts), Document Input.
This release will also see the capability of executing DreamReporter reports from
within the new customisable menu system.
• As a minimum, this version will deliver the following components:
Forms Designer
Process Generator (allowing process design – i.e. the joining of process
components etc.)
Document Input in “new” User Interface and available to “customised”
Forms
• DreamReporter integrated in to “new” User Interface (and available within
customised menus)
