ourselves toward areas in which we have experience and positive results.
NEOS is Certified Oracle Partner from the very beginning, and we have also achieved other business
partnerships significant in our business field - Novell Bussiness Partner, IBM Partner and others.
Application development
We have wide experience in development of business applications and solutions, gathered
in long-term focus of our company on this field of IT business. Our solutions are applied
in various types of companies, such as trading and manufacturing companies but also in
financial and telecommunications industry.
In addition to strictly business solutions, we also develop other kinds of solutions, such
as service subsystems for text message reporting, applied in the Allianz Tyriac pension
fund in Romania, or infrastructure telecom solutions for Czech company Sitronics Telecom
Solutions, used by mobile telecommunications companies in the Eastern Europe.
In this field, we are strongly oriented towards Oracle development technologies and
methodologies, such as WebLogic application server (former BEA), and Oracle database.
Java is foundation for development of solutions and products, so our experts have
excellent knowledge of Java-based technologies, including Oracle ADF, Faces, Ajax, Swing
and others.
In addition to that, if a certain environment demands it, we can successfully use other
producers’ technologies, such as IBM WebSphere application server, Informix or Microsoft
databases and other technologies.

Business Intelligence
Business intelligence (BI) constitutes a specific category of application and technology
solutions for collection, storage, cleansing, unifying and analysing data, which enables the
client’s independent access to information, providing a much higher quality of decision-
making process.

Business intelligence system generally provide: decision-making support, ad-hoc analyses
and reporting, online analytical processing (OLAP), statistical analyses, forecasts etc.
Although DW&BI is a relatively young IT field, we can say that Neos has been involved
in that field from the very beginning. Since then, we have acquired great experience
and expertise in implementation of such systems in the various business fields:
telecommunications industry, financial institutions, leasing and insurance companies,
logistics, retail and wholesale etc. All our consultants hold OCA or OCP certificates, as
further argument to our experience.
In DW&BI field of business we provide services as Consulting and analysis, Design and
implementation, and Education.
Although we believe that each DW & BI project is a case for itself, we certainly recommend
that the project is organised pursuant to the methodology based on years of experience
on similar projects. Therefore we have developed Neos Framework, which includes
set of standards, reusable system modules, and upgrades for standard tools such as
Oracle Warehouse Builder. The framework is used during the entire project and later in
production, with aim to increase productivity, upgradeability and documentation of the
system.
The result of years of experience is our ability to offer predefined data models and reports
for different fields of business (banks, telecommunications industry etc.) that represent
best practices, which can significantly speed up the implementation pace and decrease the
risk of project failure.
Consultancy services
Our company has decided to reach excellence in two major fields– development of specific
solutions and business intelligence. Over the years we have gathered extensive theoretical
and practical knowledge and skills in respect of technology and methodology, primarily
from the Oracle portfolio. We have also gathered vast knowledge on business processes,
their analysis, optimisation and implementation using IT technology. Our experts use this
expertise in their day-to-day work, in designing of solutions and systems.
This has resulted in the third activity from our portfolio – consultancy services, in the
segments in which we are highly successful:
