Project #1
Title: One Health System
Period: Jan ’14 – Till Date
Environment: IBM info sphere Datastage V8.7, Oracle 10g, TWS 8.5 and Attinuty.
Role: Team Member
Description:
OHS is an internal WellCare built in application which initiates the payments and claim processing for the
incoming claims. The purpose of the OHS is to bring a strategic level focus on Claims and its processing
capabilities and objectives by aligning all associated activities under a single program and vision.
The claims (Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP plans), payments, Agents and providers, member enrolment data will
come from upstream applications as flat files and DB tables. We load all data into Staging Area and apply
business logics for adjudication, pre-approval, post approval payments, Fraud Detection and scheduling the
claims, payment processing through Datastage Code and loading into OHS DW.
Responsibilities
• Understand the business rules completely and implements the data transformation methodology.
• Monitoring the entire Production batch and working on high priority Tickets.
• Involved in migration of data stage 7.5x2 to IBM info sphere Datastage V8.7
• Participated in “Batch –Issue “meetings in case of any potential delay in cycle from our end due to any
major failures in code or any other upstream or downstream failures.
• Having knowledge to understand UNIX Scripts like File Validation Scripts, SFTP and Archiving, Run job to
run Batch.
• Working as a Level-1 and Level-2 support member to fix daily cycle issues and other incidents and
Customer Service calls as well.
• Implementing manual work-process where manual effort required until code fix went to live

Description:
Customer Communication DataMart falls under the umbrella of HSBC suite of product. One HSBC is an initiative
within the group to promote product based solutions that focus on standardization and reduce cost of
ownership and IT Spending. The purpose of CDM is to provide a single interface for outbound communication
to the customer. The scope of this project includes receive outbound customer communication requests from
the various business processes of Group, generate/retrieve necessary documents/messages and deliver them
to different communication channels as requested.

3. Responsibilities
• Understand the Application, technical specification documents for individual subject area.
• Developed numerous Jobs in the project which involved Complex transformations, performance
enhancements, validations, surrogate keys, SCD’s.
• Extensively worked with Data Stage Shared Containers for Re-using the Business functionality.
• Automation is done by using batch logic, scheduling jobs on a daily, on a weekly and yearly basis
depending on the requirement using TWS Tool.
• Involved in Code Deployment to different Regions and Prepared deployment documents for every code
release.
