NAVY RESERVE  AFFLIATION AND ENLISTMENTS
(1) SELECTIVE RESERVE PTS SUBMIT PTS APPLICATION FOR SELECTIVE RESERVES THROUGH YOUR CCC MUST SUBMIT 90 DAYS OR MORE PRIOR TO EAOS TO BE ACCEPTED. ONCE YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED IN PTS FOR SELECTIVE RESERVES YOU CAN NEVER APPLY FOR ACTIVE DUTY PTS AGAIN. IF NOT SELECTED MUST APPLY THROUGH RECRUITER. RECEIVING A APPROVAL LETTER FOR PTS DOES MEAN YOU SIGNED A CONTRACT FOR SELECTIVE RESERVES.
(2) PTS CONGRATULATIONS LETTER FOR SELECTIVE RESERVE THIS LETTER IS SENT TO THE CCC AND SHOULD BE FORWARD TO MEMBER AND THEIR RECRUITER. THIS LETTER BASICALLY BUYS A RESERVATION FOR THE SELECTIVE RESERVES ONCE SEPARATED TO ENLIST OR AFFLIATED INTO NAVY RESERVES IF THEY DECIDE TO USE IT WITHIN 60 DAYS OF SEPERATION FROM EAOS. UPON RECIEVEING LETTER MEMBER MUST COMPLETE RESERVE AFFLIATION CHECK SHEET COMPETELY AND FORWARD COMPLETED FORM TO CTO DESK AND RECRUITER.
RESERVE AFFLIATION CHECK LIST
DD FORM 214 CTO ALSO REQUEST A COPY OF DD214 TO BE SCANED OR FAXED TO THEM. THIS CAN BE A WORKING COPY INTILL ORGINAL DD FORM 214 IS RECEIVED. CTO WILL SEND DOCUMENTS TO MEMBER OR RECRUITER TO SIGN AND SCAN OR FAX BACK TO CTO REPRESENTIVE.   TO FINISH ENLISTMENT OF AFFLIATION PROCESS.
DOCUMENTS SIGNED ONCE DOCUMENT IS SIGNED AND SCANNED OR FAXED BACK TO CTO OFFICE CORRECTLY (THE AFFLIATION OR ENLISTMENT IS COMPLETE). MEMBER IS TO REPORT TO NOSC FOR NEXT DRILL INDOC WEEKEND.  THIS INFORMATION IS LISTED ON MEMBER ORDERS PAGE 1326. IF MEMBER FAILS TO SHOW UP TO THE NOSC THEY ARE ( U. A.) AND WILL BE DISHONORABLY DISCHARGED INTO INACTIVE RESERVE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THEIR CONTRACT.
RECRUITERS  CAN ASSIT MEMBERS WHO ARE STAYING IN SAN DIEGO. FOR MEMBERS TRANSFERING OUT OF SAN DIEGO, RECRUITERS WILL ASSIT MEMBERS BY GETTING HOMETOWN RECRUITER AND NOSC INFORMATION TO MEMBER PRIOR TO LEAVING.

  • 1. NAVY RESERVE AFFLIATION AND ENLISTMENTS
  • 2. (1) SELECTIVE RESERVE PTS SUBMIT PTS APPLICATION FOR SELECTIVE RESERVES THROUGH YOUR CCC MUST SUBMIT 90 DAYS OR MORE PRIOR TO EAOS TO BE ACCEPTED. ONCE YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED IN PTS FOR SELECTIVE RESERVES YOU CAN NEVER APPLY FOR ACTIVE DUTY PTS AGAIN. IF NOT SELECTED MUST APPLY THROUGH RECRUITER. RECEIVING A APPROVAL LETTER FOR PTS DOES MEAN YOU SIGNED A CONTRACT FOR SELECTIVE RESERVES.
  • 3. (2) PTS CONGRATULATIONS LETTER FOR SELECTIVE RESERVE THIS LETTER IS SENT TO THE CCC AND SHOULD BE FORWARD TO MEMBER AND THEIR RECRUITER. THIS LETTER BASICALLY BUYS A RESERVATION FOR THE SELECTIVE RESERVES ONCE SEPARATED TO ENLIST OR AFFLIATED INTO NAVY RESERVES IF THEY DECIDE TO USE IT WITHIN 60 DAYS OF SEPERATION FROM EAOS. UPON RECIEVEING LETTER MEMBER MUST COMPLETE RESERVE AFFLIATION CHECK SHEET COMPETELY AND FORWARD COMPLETED FORM TO CTO DESK AND RECRUITER.
  • 5. DD FORM 214 CTO ALSO REQUEST A COPY OF DD214 TO BE SCANED OR FAXED TO THEM. THIS CAN BE A WORKING COPY INTILL ORGINAL DD FORM 214 IS RECEIVED. CTO WILL SEND DOCUMENTS TO MEMBER OR RECRUITER TO SIGN AND SCAN OR FAX BACK TO CTO REPRESENTIVE. TO FINISH ENLISTMENT OF AFFLIATION PROCESS.
  • 6. DOCUMENTS SIGNED ONCE DOCUMENT IS SIGNED AND SCANNED OR FAXED BACK TO CTO OFFICE CORRECTLY (THE AFFLIATION OR ENLISTMENT IS COMPLETE). MEMBER IS TO REPORT TO NOSC FOR NEXT DRILL INDOC WEEKEND. THIS INFORMATION IS LISTED ON MEMBER ORDERS PAGE 1326. IF MEMBER FAILS TO SHOW UP TO THE NOSC THEY ARE ( U. A.) AND WILL BE DISHONORABLY DISCHARGED INTO INACTIVE RESERVE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THEIR CONTRACT.
  • 7. RECRUITERS CAN ASSIT MEMBERS WHO ARE STAYING IN SAN DIEGO. FOR MEMBERS TRANSFERING OUT OF SAN DIEGO, RECRUITERS WILL ASSIT MEMBERS BY GETTING HOMETOWN RECRUITER AND NOSC INFORMATION TO MEMBER PRIOR TO LEAVING.
