The student enjoyed learning about air pressure and how hot and cold air interact to form storms through weather experiments. They wrote scientific reports on various weather topics and found the report on tornadoes easiest while the report on lightning was most difficult. For a research project on blizzards, the student found it easy to write sentences but difficult to make a detailed report, working especially hard on the causes section. The student is proud of the documentary and speech they created, and aims to do more research and deliver additional speeches in the future.

1. Natural Forces Reflection
WildWeather Experiments:
My favorite weather experiment was the air pressure because I
learnt about wind.An important thing I learned about weather was
that the hot air and the cold air bump together to form a storm.
If I did more experiments, I would like to know about how it
affects our world.
Scientific Report Writing:
I wrote scientific reports about air pressure, the water cycle,
static electricity and length. The easiest report to write was the
tornado because we just had to write aim and materials. The
hardest report to write is was about lighting because we have to
write the full scientific method.I am proud of my report on the
tornado because that was perfect because that went very well.
While writing these reports, I became better at understanding
tornadoes.
Research:
The natural disaster I researched was blizzards.
During the research, I found it easy to write good sentences.
I found it difficult to make a detailed report. I worked especially
hard at the cause section.The best source of information was on
impact. If I wrote my speech again, I would try to research more
by myself.
Delivering My Speech:
I am proud of my documentary because we did hard work on it.
I worked especially hard at writing my report. Next time I deliver
a speech I will try to have more research.
What else?
During this natural forces unit I especially enjoyed the lighting
experiment.After this unit, I might continue to write more
speeches and deliver them to an audience.
