Throughout my existence as an individual, I have heard people call others derogatory names. It
would be wrong to say that I have not found myself at the delivering or receiving ends of name
calling. When I was 3, I called a girl a "bucket head" and threw a hula hoop at her. At age 7, upon
moving to American, I someone called me "alien." The other day I called my friend a dumbass.
These are just a few examples from my past of name calling, but only recently have I sat down to
ponder the effects of using these phrases and what they mean about us all as individuals. As I started

I recalled what my friend had once told me when we exchanged banter. He told me what roughly
translates to "In all seriousness, we need to know when to stop because it may be all fun and games
but once it is said so often we start to believe it." I did not think much about it at the time but now I

things that the victims can do to defend themselves against verbal abuse, it is very terrible, and

My Family Has Changed My Life
My entire family has had to come to the decision of whether or not to cut off a relationship, and I've
watched my siblings do so in the past with people you would presume were their best friends. Over
time I bound to face the same problem myself. Watching my siblings go through these hard to do
decisions, and I know it sounds horrible but they gave me confidence. It gave me confidence that I

There are several themes that are significant for spiritual leadership. The main three themes that are
important in my eyes are calling, servant, and vulnerability. There needs to be a calling on your life
to understand the full impact that a person can make on so many lives. Servant is the next important
thing to being a great spiritual leader. "Servant leadership is a life filled with humility" (Lecture 8,
2013, par. 8). A person has to be willing to serve anyone and everyone they come across. Lastly,
vulnerability is a key component because being humble and willing to stop and listen to the Holy
Spirit is very important. "Humility is an 'essential' virtue that too many of the faithful forget is

Today was Olivia's least favorite day of the year, the first day of school. She didn't hate school but
she really enjoyed summer. Olivia loved waking up at twelve in the afternoon practically everyday

laid upon the bed. The once rich black hair that had stuck out in every direction now laid upon his

Consistently saturated in constant noise,it surrounds us everywhere, be it work, social media, school,
goals. Somewhere along the way the world has programmed us to keep moving and never slow
down.
The spirit of busy consumes our downtime we saturate ourselves in tv, scrolling through Pintrest,
updating our Facebook, taking selfies and constantly meditating on the worries of today.
The rest stop, we park in is worry, and busyness is our companion. Fear drives our motivation to
stay connected in the world , it pushes us through our days, propelling us farther away from the
destiny in which the Lord is calling us to.
The Lord has been dealing with me about my former self.
That nasty black hole which resided in me fed off of constant busyness, And I believed, if I stayed
busy, and connected to the world no one would forget about me. By pushing harder in my work and
made more money eventually, that hole inside would fill to overflowing.
However the more I strived, the harder I pushed, the sicker I became. Until the only shell of a person
remained. When I gave my life to Christ, He started an immediate work in me. Like a puzzle He

When it is time to catch hackers, I put all my focus into it. I try my best to be one of the best staff
members I possibly can. I thrive to do good on any goal I can reach. Above all else, I can overall just
be the chillest/coolest person to anyone on here. I love to interact with players and fellow staff
members. You can find me helping out players and grinding to be the best staff I possibly can be. I
feel like this server will be a blast to be staff on. I just love to come on everyday and putting a smile

Self-Interest Analysis
Thursday, October 15, 2017 I took a couple decisions and actions that were in my self–interest. This
week has been a busy week with midterms, studying and writing paper, it was just busy. In the mist
of all of the chaos, I tried to make time to text family back home in Haiti and my fiancée who is also
