2. The purpose of this PowerPoint is to illustrate what I learned in this class in the past seven and a
half weeks. By taking this class, I was able to use my creative background, and develop new creative
ideas using such tools as Lean Six Sigma as well as social media tools, especially in the healthcare

• As digital technologies and social media continue
to expand, healthcare providers must adapt their
professional communication to meet the
expectations and needs of consumers (Gagnon &
Sabus, 2015, p. 407).
• Technology and social media affect health
behaviors and decision making. A large amount
of internet users use technology aids, including
mobile health tracking apps to monitor and share
individual health information (Gagnon & Sabus,
2015, p. 407).

Creativity cultures look at new products, services, and operational
innovations. There is an emphasis on creativity, which helps account for
the survival and growth of technology companies
to remain both successful and artistic as well.
Some of these companies consist of 3M, Intel,
Apple, and Disney (Manning and Curtis,
2015, p. 85); I add IBM to that list as well.

12. So what have I really learned in the past seven and half weeks? I’ve learned that I
have a lot more learning to do, especially when it comes to leadership. I have more to
learn when it comes to various social media outlets, how to organize my workflow,
how to strategize, and how to relax more. I’ve learned that I need to start watching the
skies again for the colors of twilight to appear, and capture the moment, I’ve learned
that anything can happen at anytime, and taking life so seriously is not always the
answer, which includes work. I’ve learned that humility is a necessary trait for a
leader to possess, and without it, supervisors and managers will not be effective
leaders. I’ve learned that creativity is everything in leadership, and without it,
organizations would not be able to survive. Most importantly, I’ve learned to
appreciate what I have, because some people do not have anything.
