Oinacu village is located 53 km from Bucharest in Giurgiu county, Romania. The people work in agriculture, animal husbandry, beekeeping, and fishing. The rural Cristina Anghel Oinacu School has improved in recent years with an ITC laboratory connected to the internet and four classrooms, a physics/chemistry lab, and a gym. The ITC lab has 25 computers used for educational software, PowerPoint presentations, simulations, and student projects done both individually and collaboratively. Students have participated in eTwinning projects with schools in Spain, Italy, and Poland to communicate in other languages and collaborate on common topics. Upcoming projects will involve schools in Turkey, Poland, and Hungary
