3. What is
Educational Technology?

overhead projectors,
audio tapes, slide
projectors, filmstrip
projectors, and other
technologies of the late
80’s and early 90’s.

A Vivid Technology
Learning Experience
Technology is growing at an exponential
rate.
Everyday the world changes and grows.
New technologies, websites, and methods
are created that make learning faster and
easier.
9. Technology I will use in my Classroom
Portable iPad Lab
The iPad Lab is very much like a mobile computer lab. The
iPad is a great and powerful tool. As a music teacher, I can
use the iPad to teach students how to read and write music.
I can also use the iPad as musical instrument that is simple
to learn and perform with.
10. My vision of the classroom
of the future
The classroom of the future
may not be a classroom at
all. I see students learning
at their own pace from the
comfort of their homes.
Students digitally traveling
to school from all over the
world. Everything powered
by the internet and
connectivity.
11. A Challenge For Teaching
As technology
keeps it ever
progressive march
forward, It is
important for
teachers to keep
well versed on new
technologies to
keep up with our
students.
12. Words of Wisdom
“We need technology in
every classroom and in every
student and teacher’s hand,
because it is the pen and
paper of our time, and it is
the lens through which we
experience much of our
world.” – David Warlick,
Teacher and earlier adopter
of technology in the
classroom.
