My occupational identity
10 Occupation that make up my occupational
identity
2. 1 – A large and important part of my occupational identity is my roles of
son, bother and friend
3. 2 – Playing with and caring for my two
dogs is an important occupation that
makes up a large part of me.
4. 3 – Swimming is an occupation I
no longer do often but in the past
took up a large part of my time.
5. 4 – Surf life saving is another occupation that I was greatly invested in
and is something I will one day get back to.
6. 5 – Studying is a large part of
my current occupation identity
as I am currently in my 4th year
of tertiary study and will shape
my future occupations.
7. 6 – An occupation that I don’t
like so much but is an important
part of my occupational identity
is reading text books.
8. 7 – A large part of my past,
current and future
occupations is painting and
playing with wargamming
models.
9. 8 – Drinking coffee, an occupation
that I will not stop anytime soon
marking up a large part of me.
10. 9 – An important occupation of my past was working in a small
video store for five years
