2. Educational Technology
• Educational Technology, often referred to as
"EdTech," is the study and practice of designing
effective instruction using technology, media, and
learning theory.

4. Flashcards
• A flashcard or flash card is a set of cards
bearing information, as words or numbers, on
either or both sides, used in classroom drills or
in private study. One writes a question on a card
and an answer overleaf.
• Flashcards can bear vocabulary, historical
dates, formulas or any subject matter that can be
learned via a question and answer format.
5. Effects of Flashcards to my learning
• My teachers in my pre-school years used these
kind of learning materials not only because the
flashcards are fun to a child’s eyes (the colors,
pictures can easily catch the attention of a child)
but because flashcards are also very convenient
to use. The flashcards were able to sharpen my
memorization skills and were able to enhance my
alertness.
7. BLACKBOARD
•
•
•
also known as Chalkboard.
is a reusable writing surface on which text or
drawings are made with sticks of calcium
sulphate or calcium carbonate, known, when used
for this purpose, as chalk. Blackboards were
originally made of smooth, thin sheets of black or
dark grey slate stone. Modern versions are often
green because the color is considered easier on
the eyes.
It is also considered as one of the oldest and
most common teaching material.
8. Effects of Blackboard to my learning
• When I was in elementary until high school, I’m
afraid of standing in front of my classmates, I’m
scared of being in front of the entire class. But with
the help of the frequent use of blackboard (or
chalkboard), I was able to gain confidence and I was
able to overcome my fear of having the attention of
a lot of people. I am now able to speak in front of a
crowd and I have now a conviction in everything I
say whenever there is a recitation and whenever
there is a need of standing in front of many people.
10. Computer Programs
• Computer software can mix text, pictures, sound,
and motion to provide a variety of options for
learners. Multimedia software will not be the only
classroom resource, but it can contribute
richness and variety to student work.
• Many educators have seen the possibilities to use
technology in teaching.
11. Effects of Computer programs to my learning
• Computer programs are able to give me the
capability to construct my own understanding
to a specific topic. I can also individualize
instructions given by the instructors or
teachers.
