3. Early Brainstorms for Track Selection
When selecting a track to create the video around we considered different
genres of music that our group members listened to – Ranging from Ambient
Music, Hip-Hop, Electronic Music and Heavy Metal.
After much discussion, we concluded that we would use Daniel’s (a group
member) band Quad Damage for our track and then we had to decide what
track to use.
Initially we strongly considered using the band’s eponymous track, and had a
completely different video concept planned featuring extreme violence. We
then discussed it further and thought up a different concept based off a
1980’s sci-fi film which we thought we could do a lot more with in terms of
shots and scenes.
