What is Melody?
• Melody in music is a series of tones arranged in a horizontal
position.
• These tones are played or sung one at a time.
• Melody is an element of music that is considered the most
expensive and meaningful.
• It has pitch, form and direction.
• It may go up, down, or it may be repeated, and it may also
move fast or slow.
