Sculpture The denotative meaning of sculpture is a piece of art that is made by carving or modeling clay, stone, metal and more. Steel rod sculpture A piece of artwork that is made by steel rod. - 4. This steelsculpture is found in Muntri Street of George Town. It is found erected to the side of a shop house. “Muntri Street is named after the Orang Kaya Menteri of Larut Perak, Ngah Ibrahim.” This street was a place for the upper class people in the old time. According to source, the Menteri discovered tin in Larut. In this sculpture, the Menteri trades with the rich people in this streets as he is the main supplier. From the sculpture, it is illustrated that the Orang Kaya is the street is a Chinese. (The long braid and chinese mandarin hat) The menteri is carrying a keris that represents class in Malays. - 5. Lefty Julianis the artist of Win Win Situation. He is from Penang, Malaysia. Lefty is a left-handed comic artist. He is the co-founder of Gilamon, an art studio that does design and comics. Lefty started to work in art industry since the 90’s. WIN WIN SITUATION’S ARTIST

- 7. This steelsculpture can be found at Love Lane, George Town, Penang. Love Lane was named after the Chinese saying ‘Ai Cheng Hang’ as the Chinese said that the rich men hid their mistresses or lovers here. Love Lane is located adjacent to the Muntri Street where the rich men lived in the old time. The sculpture shows a fat man, half naked, hanging on the wall while holding tight to a rope. The man was probably hiding from a raid from his wife. The people in the past were allowed to have two or more wives.(Before the year of 1980) ABOUT CHEATING HUSBAND
- 8. Tang MunKian is the local artist of the cheating husband steel sculpture. He also did another 13 steel sculpture installed around George Town. Tang Mun Kian is a cartoonist, artist and designer. He won some proposal for Marking George Town Competition. He is from Penang and currently lives in Kuala Lumpur. He graduated from Malaysian Institute of Art. ABOUT CHEATING HUSBAND’S ARTIST
- 9. “LITTLE GIRL INBLUE/KUNG FU GIRL” MURAL
- 10. It islocated in Muntri Street, George Town, Penang. The picture is by the side of a temple building that houses the Penang Goldsmith Association. It was drew based on a photo of a little girl from Penang. The drawing is different than the photo as the fringe is covering some parts of the eyes in the mural. It was said that it’s the only mural drew by the artist that didn’t work out well. This is because the girl in mural doesn’t look as jovial as the girl in the photography. - 12. The muralis located in Lebuh Muntri, George Town, Penang. The old man is a trishaw pedaller. He is sitting comfortable on the trishaw seats to get some rests, or even looking for customers as he is awake and looking around. It was painted on a 5 floors shop house. On the opposite of the shop house, there are trishaws parked in the station located in front of a church. The biggest sized mural in Penang. ABOUT THE AWAITING TRISHAW PEDALLER

- 15. The muralart is integrated with a motorcycle. The mural is located on the side doors of a shophouse in Ah Quee Street, George Town, Penang. It is also completed by the hands of Ernest Zacharevic. The child is obviously not enough age to ride a bicycle. He is looking at the pedestrians across the road. The attires of the child is from the old times especially the helmet and the slippers. ABOUT BOY ON A BIKE
- 17. His nameis Ernest Zacharevic Most of his mural artworks in Penang are done in the year 2012. He is born in Vilnius, Lithuania, a country in Europe. He is a young artist who only aged around 28 years old. He travels around the world to paint murals. He drew interactive mural arts that provokes reactions.
