Network marketing, also called multi-level marketing, refers to a marketing strategy where sales representatives recruit additional sales representatives who then recruit more representatives to sell products. A representative gets customers and trains other representatives, with representatives receiving a discount or commission for any sales by representatives they recruit. Examples of companies that use this strategy include Tupperware, Avon, Oriflame, and Amway.
