My name is Januar, a 23 y.o,
Art Director and Graphic Designer I’am more into digital art stuff
rather than drawing or illustration, but sometimes I love to draw
and take a picture on a nice sunny day. Mostly I spend my day by
doing some reserch (web browsing) and finding new idea and inspi-
ration for my next artwork.
Here are some collections that I have made til 2019.
This portfolio mostly contain my Graphic design artwork
that I made during my free time after some work from
my company. Well a lot of this artwork made from 2016-
2017 where I was a student on my College in Jakarta
and Shanghai. But why? Honestly, during that time I can
do everything that I want, I can do it All out according
to my sense of art. Well please enjoy all the artwork that

Poster Design
What I love doing during my free time or weekends are reading a
book, browsing for new design inspiration, and make a poster from
what I learn or get from internet. So most of artwork that displayed
in my Portfolio is a Poster design.
Branding Design
If you can do a poster really fast, I mean faster but no for Branding,
branding is more about the communication, what kind of messages
and value that you want to input in to the brand must be clear and
everyone that see the brand system must be able to figure it out as
fast as possible.
Illustration Design
I said on my websites that I love to do some illustration as a cure or
medicine of my work. But that’s a work to. Well for me Illustration in
all about the emotion and motion that you pour into a canvas (blank
document in my case).
Photo, Video, and Motion
When I was in High School I choose Multimedia as my major (vo-
cational school to be perceived). During that time I mostly spend
my time to play around with camera and other stuff. So now even
though I not spend my time using a camera (I don’t have any of it)
when I have opportunities to play around with it

Well like I said before, I love to browse the internet to find some new
things that I can play around with. Even though I am not really into
it but lately I find that... that kind of stuff really fun and interesting.

Poster
Design.
What I love doing during my free time or weekends are
reading a book, browsing for new design inspiration, and
make a poster from what I learn or get from internet. So
most of artwork that displayed in my Portfolio is a Poster
design. Why poster? Well for me poster is on of common /
most used material / medium for graphic design and art
directing. When people ask you what kind of design, you
will or often show them the poster that you made. So here
are some of my poster that I made until 2019.
In 2018 Indonesia held the biggest
sport event in Asian or you can say,
the 2nd biggest sport event in the
world. I take or participate in that
event by submitting my artwork for
them. The main idea for the Poster
is that I have to show of The Spirit
or The Energy that we have as a big
nation. Well in my case I want to
show our “Gotong Royong” as the
spirit and the power of Indonesia.
So I illustrate that with 2 hand that
help each other.

Here is an artwork that I made for my
College Exam, The challenge here is that
I have to make an promotional poster
that introduce a new variant of product.
I choose Indomie because I simply like it
and I come up with Seafood ala Jepang
because, well it’s kinda interesting. The
idea here is that you can taste the flavour
of seafood even though you have allergy.

have done for atgmi, here I have to make a

their Food Safety Packaging seminars. In
this poster I want to show various of pack-
aging that usually used for F&B industry.

Aksara, one of the biggest event in my Cam-
pus. The idea of this event are to show off our
Advertising Major / Faculty, Invite people that
have a big idea and innovation in Advertising
Industry. Well you can say it as mini Citra Pari-
wara, but in a Campus scale. “Be a Gold now or
Never” mean that you have to move and adapt
as fast as possible in this progressive world, so

college exam. Here I want to introduce the new
Google Material Design Language as the new
movement of graphic design in that year (When
the Android Lollipop release) In this new Design
System, google move into more simple, clean,
and minimalistic design. Well because of that it

One of my college artwork. My teacher challenge
me to create and develop a new marketing cam-
paign for one of biggest E-commerce in Indonesia.
I choose Lazada because it obviously one of the
biggest e-commerce in SEA. The Idea here are
quite similar with what you can find in Ebay,
where you can bid and bargain the prices for some
product. Other than that I also introduce Girl
Night Out, well inspired by the habit of working
class woman that spend their time to shop in the
night

my college day. Magic Lezat in one of
seasoning that produced by Indofood.
In this artwork I want to highlight
the most inspirational person, Yunia
Octavi. She is a philanthropic person
from Yogyakarta that alyas serve free
food for poor people in Yogyakarta.
Like Magic Lezat, and so her kindness.
By using magic lezat she can share a
little bit of happiness to other people
that need it. Hope with this poster
can inspire other people to use magic
lezat and share happiness with other
people too.

artwork that I made for GoodDay

In this artwork I want to show how
our people are widely known for their
kindness, especially in Ramadan, as we
can say as the month full of kindness
where a lot of people no matter where
they come from even what kind of reli-
gion that they believe, we are still the
same, we are Indonesian, and in this
packaging I want spark up that kind-
ness by giving to other that needed.

Baluran is one of some famous National Park in
Indonesia, There you can see some endemic ani-

Band that I made for my brand-

in Shanghai. In this artwork I
want to show of who that they
were an alternative progressive
band from England, with their
songs mostly using some kind
of electronic distortion to give

that they made, something like

Another commission artwork that I made for Ke-
menady Coffee and Co-Working Space, one of best
Coffee shop and Co-Working space in Bogor city. In
this artwork I have to show of modern and elegant
feeling of the store, by using really minimalist
background and ornament so people can focus on
the menu item and the photograph in the menu
without any distraction from another element
that didn’t add a value. And the result is modern
minimalis design that bring the pictures and the
item more vivid.

take KFC as my client mostly because
KFC are the number one Chicken Fast
Food chain in Indonesia, but despite
of that number, KFC need a campaign

Hidden Treasure - 100 Years of Bauhaus Dessaus.
Where in this competition I have to create and
illustration and visual using resurrected Font from
Bauhaus Design School. In this artwork I tried to
bring up the true or real bauhaus design style by
using geometrical object as main visual and also
using so characteristic from font that come from
Bauhaus Design School.

time I made a logotype only using Bauhaus Font

Here are some street photography that
I take on my visit to Nanjing Road near
Shanghai Pearl Tower. Luckily I came out
there where chinese people celebrate the
golden week and moon festival, so There
I can see a lot of people gather there and
bringing a chinese flag with them. There I
also can see a lot of army and police guard
the street to make sure that mass people
safe from any criminal action.

one ot the biggest human made lake in Shanghai.
There’s a lot of interesting photography spot
around that area. Well if you need to know that a
lot of landscape in Shutterstock mostly taken in
Dishui Lake (I always find it in shutterstock) but

when the miss come and make the lake look very

Here is the PSA ads that I made when I was
in High School (Vocational School). In this
ads I combine video with motion graphic to
demonstrate how dangerous is it to have your
headphone on when you driving a motor-
bike (well that apply to cars and another

The movie that I made when I was in High
School (Vocational School). This movie tell a
story about someone who move to new house
but there a lot of mystery surrounded that
house. My role in this movie as a cinematog-

made for my college final project. Here I
want to take KFC as my client mostly be-
cause KFC are the number one Chicken
Fast Food chain in Indonesia, but despite

One of my college branding project. Lazada, obviously one of
the biggest e-commerce in SEA. Here I want to redesign the
front page of Lazada websites because back then the websites
is kind like a messy, no categorize, everything just showing
up in the front page, that make user hard to navigate or find
product that they needed. In this new design I want to clutter
all product and categorize them so user can easily navigate
and find what they needed.

Well that all what I did from my High School day until now (Not all but at least here
are the best artwork that I can show to you, some artwork are copyrighted and still
in development so I can’t share that now). A lot of things that happened when I made
these artwork but what old people say “Experiences is the great teacher that you can
get”. I have a lot of idea that I want to make this year so please keep in touch and
