Mandy Chan is a graphic design student studying at Saito College. Her portfolio showcases her artwork and learning journey. Her interests include web design, computer graphic design, and packaging. Some of her projects include designs for vodka and yogurt drink packaging, stationery sets, a Swatch box, a booklet on Italy, and magazines. She also has experience with web design projects including redesigning a BBQ Plaza website and creating a sticky website. Mandy completed a 13-week internship where she gained experience working in the design industry.

Mandy here...!
My name is Mandy Chan. I’m studying graphic design at Saito College. My interest is web design,
computer graphic design and packaging.
This portfolio is about my showcase of my artwork and my learning journey.

3. My Passion
My dreams is have my own design company.
I think work experience and my insistence can let me growth as a professional designer.
My interest are Computer Graphic Design, Web Design and Packaging.

4. Packaging. My packaging assignment have mix vodka packaging design, green packet
design, Meiji yogurt drink design, Swatch packaging design and stationary set design.
First of all, the most important things in this subject is understanding. Before starting my project
need to understanding my brand background and concept.And that, I designed for for that.
After approved design will started to do mock up. Mock up is the most importance stage in
before printing, that can let me know how the design working or not. I will try my best to bring
my design to let the brand more fascinating and more notional.
Packaging

5. Sationary Set Design
I created this stationanry set using vintage and stamp collecter as my concept.
I have created a notebook, stamp collection book, six bookmark, two postcard and sticker. After that,
I make a traver box to cover all my stationary set.

6. Swatch Box Design
My swatch name is Gornergrat. Gornergrat is located about three kilometers
east of Zermatt in the Swiss canton of Valais.
Based my swatch design, ilgoo can keep warm. So, I tried to used igloo be my box design and let
that feel outside are very cold but inside are warm.

7. Computer Graphic
Design
Computer Graphic Design. In this lesson I have learn more about Adobe software skill and tried
to used Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign do newspaper design, movie poster
design, book design and other. I have learn about how to used tool to tracing and editing. This all
can let me more understanding about how to utilize software to let design attractive and nice looking.
Good in software skill can let me more convenient and overhand to do anywork.

8. Booklet Design
My booklet design title about Italy traver booklet.
I choosed some popular traver hotspot in Italy. I used old school style font because Italy have
many historics building. This booklet main colour are green, white and red meaning that Italy flat.

9. Packaging. My packaging assignment have mix vodka packaging design, green packet

My magazine design title is Japan animation-Gntama.
I choosed this animation be my title is because I like this animation when I am Form 3. I like the
characters personality and the content are funny, this can me me happy. So, I tried to make a
magazine to let more people can know this animation.

11. Web Design
Web Design. This lesson I have learn about how do to a website and the rule how to design layout,
create design block, alignment, space, font and other. So, this can let me more experiment to design
and create website. I will use my experiment to let my design can help my customer for my future.

12. BBQ Plaza Website
This is my first website design.
I choosed this BBQ Plaza Website to redesign bacause the original one is too simple. And they are
put too many information together and let website user are very uncomfortable. So, I tried to redesign
it to let the website more interesting and clear.

13. Sticky Website
This is my second website design. Actually this assignment is for create 6 button by using
Adobe Flash.
Original website are more picture and more information. So, when I redesign it I tried to simplify all
information to let the website view more clean and clear.

14. About Me
I am Mandy Chan from Kuala Lumpur Kepong. I have 5 sibling include me and I am the fourth one.
Now, I am 20 years-old and coming soon June, I will be going to 21 years-old. I am graduated at
SMK Kepong Baru in 2015 and studying diploma graphic design at Saito College now. I like drawing
when I was a kid, until today I want to improve myself to learn about the design skill for my future.
I am punctual, I will complete my work on time. I also a good teamplayer and I will do all my best in
my team. I will understanding the instruction first before start my work. I also communicate with my
client to more understanding that client need and do my best.

15. Meiji Yogurt Design
My yogurt drink brand is Meiji from Japan.
So, I tried to used simple and cute style to design this yourt drink. The red spot and black spot
meaning that is apple flavour and milk. After that, I put japanese font inside let the design more
Japan feeling.

18. Internship Experience
I work at Powersellers Sdn Bhd within 13 week for my internship programme.
Must be work hard do your best. If not will leave a bad impression to supervisor. Next is don’t be shy
to asking question. Have any problem can ask your supervisor to help your solve it. Must go to work
on time. Sometime the company hates people who arrive late every time.
