This presentation shares aspects of Culture & Artifacts inspired by the work of Dr Edgar Schein based on my work as an Organization Development and Culture Change consultant. Leaders drive culture and impact it . I looked at the leadership in my clients from the lens of India systems of the nine emotions or Navarasa . I find the Navarasa approach an effective way to help leaders explore their mindset when dealing with change and uncertainty.

Indian Philosophy and system suggests that all of us have these 9 basis Emotions , Leader need to become self aware of

Karthikeyan is a Senior Management Consultant in Mercuri Urval. He has more than 20 years of experience in developing and managing
business in consulting.
His consulting career includes stints in PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) & Grow Talent later acquired by Right Management. Karthikeyan
was VP Consulting Services in Right Management before joining Mercuri Urval.
He works with clients in Private, Public spanning manufacturing and services and Not for Profit Sectors. He has assessed organization
capability to support business agenda, reviewed and recommended organization design and processes improvements for driving business
effectiveness , designed and delivered assessment and development centres to identify and develop leaders
He supported clients to accelerate merger & integration of companies with a focus on culture integration and coaching senior leaders to be
effective and impactful, facilitated large scale change management process with a focus on reinvention, innovation and culture change.
He enjoys swimming and an occasional trek with friends. He has a Bachelor of Technology degree from NDRI, Karnal and a Master’s degree
in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from TISS, Mumbai.
