A Modem is somewhat a more interesting network device in our daily life. So if you have noticed around, you get an internet connection through a wire (there are different types of wires) to your house. This wire is used to carry our internet data outside to the internet world.
However, our computer generates binary data or digital data in forms of 1s and 0s and on the other hand, a wire carries an analog signal and that’s where a modem comes in.
A modem stands for (Modulator+Demodulator). That means it modulates and demodulates the signal between the digital data of a computer and the analog signal of a telephone line.

As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

Conversational agents, or chatbots, are increasingly used to access all sorts of services using natural language. While open-domain chatbots - like ChatGPT - can converse on any topic, task-oriented chatbots - the focus of this paper - are designed for specific tasks, like booking a flight, obtaining customer support, or setting an appointment. Like any other software, task-oriented chatbots need to be properly tested, usually by defining and executing test scenarios (i.e., sequences of user-chatbot interactions). However, there is currently a lack of methods to quantify the completeness and strength of such test scenarios, which can lead to low-quality tests, and hence to buggy chatbots.
To fill this gap, we propose adapting mutation testing (MuT) for task-oriented chatbots. To this end, we introduce a set of mutation operators that emulate faults in chatbot designs, an architecture that enables MuT on chatbots built using heterogeneous technologies, and a practical realisation as an Eclipse plugin. Moreover, we evaluate the applicability, effectiveness and efficiency of our approach on open-source chatbots, with promising results.

Choose the Experts for
Future Systems
Access to more technology
A dual-vendor strategy enables a choice from a wider range
of options, which in turn should ensure a user can deploy
the best solution for its networking needs.
A multi-vendor approach prevents
vendor lock-in
Perhaps the number one reason why network engineers prefer
a multi-vendor network is to prevent vendor lock-in. Vendor
lock-in can occur when implementing new network solutions
into an existing environment or when future upgrades are
needed down the road. Both are legitimate concerns and
need to be carefully assessed as to the level of risk your
organisation is willing to take in this particular category.
The multi-vendor approach provides you
with experts
The main reason Data Centre Managers and Engineers choose
multiple vendors for their infrastructure are that they know
they will be receiving the experts in their respected field
/ department. This ensures your network has the optimum
products / solution tailored to your system to prevent any
down time.

Trunk Cables
MTP®
Lite Trunk Cables
MTP®
Lite Trunk Cables are of
a lightweight single jacket
construction, designed to optimise
space saving of trunk patching.
The 12f cable has a 3.2mm outer
diameter (OD) while the 24f version
is marginally larger at 3.8mm.
These compact cables are packed with
Kevlar® which provides the necessary
endurance for routing and patching
purposes, though best used within a
comms room or data suite environment,
as opposed to backbone cabling.
MTP®
Tuff Trunk Cables
MTP®
Tuff Trunk Cables are of a robust,
double-jacket construction, designed
for longer length trunk patching.
Incredibly, the provision of a second
jacket benefits the cable by an
additional 500N of crush resistance to
an overall total of 1000N. The cables
retain their compactness with only
4.7mm OD for 12f and 5.4mm for the 24f
version. These cables are packed with
Kevlar® which provides the necessary
endurance for routing and patching
purposes, providing links between
comms rooms or data centres.
On both the MTP®
Lite Trunk and MTP®
Tuff
Trunk Cables, only genuine MTP®
Connectors
are fitted. The Elite MTP®
ferrule is
designed for applications requiring
the highest performance. It provides
exceptional benefits over the conventional
MPO connectors, including patented floating
ferrule design, patented elliptical, high
precision guide pins and removable housing,
allowing rapid gender change and reversing
polarity. In addition, both the MTP®
Lite
Trunk and MTP®
Tuff Trunk Cables facilitate
rapid deployment of high density backbone
cabling in data centres and other high
fibre count environments, reducing network
installation or reconfiguration time
and cost. They are used to interconnect

thus reducing the need to install four
separate cables.
Our Slimline break-out has the option
of being fitted with a 20mm gland for
installation into a patch panel or other
closure.
Our standard tail configuration is staggered,
longest tail being 0.5mtr (2mtr Max)
length as this gives the ability to apply a
protection sock.
The cable construction consists of a 48core
Multi-Loose Tube with a nominal 10mm LSZH
jacket.

The MTP®
Multi-Tuff trunk
cables are designed to route
up to 12x 12f trunks within
one multi-loose tube cable.
The LT Maxi Break-out with 20mm
compression gland fitted as
standard enablle the assembly to
be fitted firectly to a patch
panel, ODF or closure.
Our standard presentation for
each tail length is 0.5mtr with
a staggered configuration which
then gives the ability to apply
a protection sock. However, we
do offer up to 2mtr tail lengths
with an optional no stagger.
Multi-Tuff trunks make use

Ruggedised harnesses or hydra fan-outs, as they are
sometimes known, allow the direct connection between
MTP®
adaptors and other connector types, such as LC.
They are often referred to as QSFP cable links for SR4
and CXP parallel optics applications.
Typically used with QSFP 40G SR4 connectivity, with tail
break-out units split into 8f or 4x 10G channels, they enable
direct patching from the MTP®
port on the switch to LC port on
the MTP®
Cassettes. The harnesses are manufactured to a custom
length and are interoperable between differing QSFP module
manufacturers.
Our QSFP Cable Harness examples:

There is a choice of strain relief boots; flexi-boot, short
or standard options. The flexi-boot reduces the need for
cable management as the boot is simply positioned as required
and is retained by the integral support wire. The short boot
option, at 18mm in length, provides the smallest bend radius
and is useful where the front of panel patching distance is
very short.
The LC HD Uni-Boot is our most compact solution providing
two fibres in a single tube with the added benefit of a
switchable LC pull tab enabling removal of the connector
without disturbing neighbouring ports. The switchable
function allows for changing of polarity of the LC Connector,
