Mechanical Completion means verifying through checking, testing, and inspection that fabrication, construction and installation of a project meets all applicable rules, regulations, codes and standards as well as the design drawings and specifications. Mechanical Completion must be completed before commissioning to ensure the system is preserved and ready for commissioning.

The system shall be preserved and ready for Commissioning when Mechanical Completion is
completed.
