- 6. Vetting Referrals to Nurse Led Clinic Prevent booking of conditions other than endometriosis i.e. endometrial ablation Prevent referrals to health professional who does not have the expertise and or skills to deal with the problem Reduce number of appointments for remote referrals

Nurse Led Clinic All day once weekly 1 hour new slots 30 minute follow up slots To see all new referrals, both confirmed cases and women with symptoms suggestive of endometriosis Discussion re condition, previous investigations Treatment (dependent on life stage, age, severity of symptoms and impact on lifestyle, desire to conceive) CNS essential in helping patient make choice Perform Ultrasound Scan if necessary Provide information on treatment and make recommendation to GP if medical or hormone treatment chosen Provide detailed information leaflet on benefits risks and complications of surgery. - 10. Ward work Familiar reassuring face for patients Accompany Consultant and laparoscopic trainee fellow in the morning. Review patients in the afternoon to establish whether fit for discharge See pre op patients prior to surgery See post op diagnostic patients to deliver findings Liaise with urology department to have urological stents removed Arrange follow-up at 3 months in Consultant Clinic Take contact details to make post op phone call 1 week later Provide education and support for nurses and other health professionals
