Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May to honor mothers. It originated due to the efforts of Julia Ward Howe and Anna Jarvis in the United States. President Woodrow Wilson signed the resolution making it an official holiday in 1914. Queen Sirikit of Thailand was born in 1932 and married King Bhumibol in 1950, prior to his coronation. She has served as Queen of Thailand and Queen Regent. The document also includes a Mother's Day card idea and the lyrics to the song "Thank You Mom" by Good Charlotte expressing gratitude to mothers.
