- 2. December 26, 2000This is my story. I woke Christmas day and my world began to change. You would think being 7 years old the next day after Christmas would be full of fun and celebration but instead that was the day - the day my world changed. Now I live every day with Type 1 Diabetes.

- 25. December 26, 2000The day it changed. I did not feel well at all and after my mom took me to the doctor, I ended up in the Hospital. I was scared, confused and not sure what to do next. We began our journey:

- 42. How do Ideal with it: Day by day! I test multiple times per day and when I first was diagnosed I took shots and my blood sugar levels were all over. Thanks to great people that donate the pump became available for Diabetics. I have been on the pump for over 6 years now and it helps me live and act like everyone else.
