To Whom It May Concern;
!t is with pleasure that ! write a letter of recommendation for Ms.
Moonyean Lagadia. I have worked with Moonyean this past year as a
member of our first grade team and as her BTSA Support Provider. Many
activities in the curricular areas of math, science, social studies, art,
music and language arts are integrated across the curriculum. Cooperative
groups, whole class and small group instruction are used where
appropriate. Ms. Lagadia was very effective in the use of assertive
discipline and rewards for appropriate behavior.
While Moonyean was teaching at Farragut School, she took an active
part in ail aspects of our school from attending meetings , parent
conferences and observing throughout the school, as well as working with
the first grade team.
Ms. Lagadia has shown sensitivity and caring in dealing with all
children. There have been daily opportunities for informal contact with
parents and I have been told by many parents how approachable and helpful
Ms. Lagadia is.
All throughout Moonyean's lessons are creativity and innovation. She
is sensitive to the children's needs as well as flexible in adjusting the
lessons to the various learning modalities of individual students. Her
lesson designs frequently emphasize development of critical thinking and
problem solving skills as well as active involvement of students. She is
skillful in utilizing multiple instructional strategies and teaching
materials. She also showed great flexibility in scheduling and
rescheduling as necessary.
Ms. Lagadia has done an outstanding job during her teaching here at
Farragut. She has been professional, compassionate, caring and thorough.
Her long and short range planning is very effective. All lessons and units
are well organized, well paced and engaging to all students. She peaks
their interest in all curricular areas. She strives to meet the needs of the

Her enthusiasm toward children and teaching make Moonyean an excellent
teacher.
Moonyean's energy, enthusiasm, empathy and professionalism
certainly exemplify high potential as a teacher. She is an asset to the
teaching profession and will be a welcome addition to any staff. It has
been a pleasure to work with her.
Most sincerely,
