Dear Human Resource,
I had the pleasure to work for Adams District 14 as a paraprofessional. It wasn’t until after I started
working in 2001 school year that I realized I had found my calling. After working six years with the
district and at my special education teachers’ suggestions, I knew I needed to become a teacher. On
December 11th, I completed my course work in student teaching in the field of Special Education and an
endorsement in Culturally Linguistic Diverse. I am interesting in a position within the district and have
attached my resume. It is my goal to give back to this community.
I appreciate your time and hope you will consider my application for employment once more.
Sincerely,
Dawn Chastain
