Most images use a single theme color with basic colors like white or black to make the magazine stand out, and Patrick plans to use a blue base color with a white to grey gradient background for the magazine.

3. Inspiration
I have chosen these images as I feel they heavily reflect the genre of my
magazine: Singer/Songwriter. The images include the style of shots I
would preferably like to experiment with in my magazine, and while
simplistic I would like to make the magazine cover and contents page as
informative as possible. The simplicity of the pictures also reflects the
simplicity of the music I am focusing my magazine on, so the audience
will get a better understanding of the genre. Most of the images, utilize
one theme colour, which they often use with a basic colour such as
white or black to make the magazine stand out. In my magazine I would
preferably like to use blue as a base colour and use white to make it
stand out with a white to grey gradient background.
