1

September 4, 2022
My name is Jose Antonio Montero but I preferred to be called
Anthony Montero. I am a Latino born and raised in Los Angeles,
California and also an alumni from Montebello High School. After
graduation in 2008 I decided to take a break from school which
lasted roughly 12 years. During those 12 years I developed an
extensive work experience background and skill set which includes
the hospitality and restaurant industry , security, sales, marketing,
and becoming an entrepreneur. I’ve grown to have a passion for the
marketing industry and decided to enroll in Full Sail University’s
Online Digital Marketing Bachelors program. I also have a passion
for the arts such as music and
fi
lm and I am a music producer and
singer as a hobby. Now I am 32 years old and I am in the process of
fi
nishing my degree at Full Sail. I also work part time as a server at a
country club, I build websites as a side hustle and I do general
marketing for businesses of all kinds. What makes me unique is that
I have an entrepreneurial mindset and I am a hard worker that is
always taking an extra step forward to achieve my goals. Upon
graduating from Full Sail university my goal is to work for a company
in the music industry such as Live Nation in the marketing
department and eventually learn the skills and experience to work my
way up to Director of Marketing. My ultimate goal is to not only be
employed by a major company but also build my own digital
marketing business and learn coding skills to build websites.

  • 2. My name is Jose Antonio Montero but I preferred to be called Anthony Montero. I am a Latino born and raised in Los Angeles, California and also an alumni from Montebello High School. After graduation in 2008 I decided to take a break from school which lasted roughly 12 years. During those 12 years I developed an extensive work experience background and skill set which includes the hospitality and restaurant industry , security, sales, marketing, and becoming an entrepreneur. I’ve grown to have a passion for the marketing industry and decided to enroll in Full Sail University’s Online Digital Marketing Bachelors program. I also have a passion for the arts such as music and fi lm and I am a music producer and singer as a hobby. Now I am 32 years old and I am in the process of fi nishing my degree at Full Sail. I also work part time as a server at a country club, I build websites as a side hustle and I do general marketing for businesses of all kinds. What makes me unique is that I have an entrepreneurial mindset and I am a hard worker that is always taking an extra step forward to achieve my goals. Upon graduating from Full Sail university my goal is to work for a company in the music industry such as Live Nation in the marketing department and eventually learn the skills and experience to work my way up to Director of Marketing. My ultimate goal is to not only be employed by a major company but also build my own digital marketing business and learn coding skills to build websites. IDENTITY

GOALS Short Term: (Immediately After Graduation, 2024) • Become employed by a company like Live Nation, Golden Voice, or The Los Angeles Times . ‣ I will reach out to the CEO and marketing managers of these organizations including follow emails and phone calls if I don’t hear back. I plan on doing this the fi rst year after graduation . Mid Term: (2030 ) • Become the marketing manager at the organization I work for . ‣ I will prove my skill sets and responsibility within the organization and ask the Manager or CEO to consider me for a higher position. I plan on doing this after 5 years at the organization . Long Term: (2035 ) • Become the Marketing Director of the organization and launch my marketing company side business . ‣ By then I plan to have a polished linked in pro fi le with up to date content and experience. I will petition for the position of marketing director at the organization I work for and also build my side business as a digital marketing consultant. I plan on achieving this within the 10 years of working for the marketing department of an organization.
