Mount Abu is a popular hill station located in the Aravalli Range in western India. It forms a rocky plateau up to 22 km long and 9 km wide, with the highest point being Guru Shikhar peak at 1,722 meters above sea level. Mount Abu features rivers, lakes, waterfalls and forests and is referred to as an oasis in the desert. It has historical significance as well as several important religious sites and natural attractions that draw visitors.
