In the scope of “Cultural
Treasure” heritage grants
program funded by MCS Holding
LLC, ACM has been running
a landscaping project for the
Choijin Lama Temple Museum.
This year, 1012 sq.m granite
walkway, 1574 sq.m
parking area, 3621 sq.m
garden featuring 600 sq.m Zen
garden will be built at 7350sq.m
front yard of the museum.
Architectural facade lighting
system & walkway lights will
also be installed to increase
the uniqueness of the the
Choijin Lama Temple museum
architecture and enhance the
charm of the capital city.
As a result of the 2-years
landscaping project, the historical
building of Choijin Lama
Temple museum will provide
pleasant environment for the
public. Moreover, this project
has contributed significantly
to improve conservation and
protection of cultural monuments.
ACM’s Red Ger Creative
Space is introducing “Empathy
children” exhibition by artist
J.Bolortuvshin, one of established
talents. Weekdays 11 am to 5 pm,
between May 4, 2020 to May
29 2020. Artist uses advanced
technology in order to reach
modern audiences and to trigger
new aesthetic experiences. Due

ACM launched its “Artist of
the Year” project in 2019
to support and cooperate
with artists from various art fields
and promote them through creative
artistic collaboration.
In 2019-2020, ACM
highlighted and collaborated
with artists from the fields of fine
arts, music, dance, literature and
film. These included decorative
artist E.Tsagaantsooj, dancer
J.Nomgonmaa, writer and poet
E.Ulemjtugs, “Zun'' production and
“No wonder” production’s artists.
Artists mentioned above expanded
their artistic collaboration not
only in Mongolia, but had chance
to participate in the international
exhibitions, to initiate new
exchanges and take part in different
creative processes.
In 2020-2021, ACM selected
another five artists as “Artist
of the Year” from the field of
photography, design, music,
literature and art research:
Graphic designer Ts.Erkhbayar,
photographer B.Bat Orgil, zither
player U.Ariunkhishig, art
researcher Ts.Batsaikhan poet and
journalist D.Gansaruul. With the
support of ACM artists will be
able to promote their artistic works
to the public using ACM’s “Red
Ger” Creative Space by organising
various events and activities
throughout the year. Also, artists
will be invited to take part in ACM
activities and promote and enrich
their profile.

gloomy nights of pandemic…

Embassy in Ulaanbaatar, Arts
Council of Mongolia is creating
“Arts from Home” 10 series of
online performance contents. 4
bands and 10 individual artists of
a rainbow backgrounds including
classical to contemporary DJ sets,
from traditional to alternative
music added their unique colors
to the series. Wonderful co-
creations between the US and
Mongolian bands and artists,
who participated in the American
Music Abroad (AMA) program
sponsored by The US State
Department are featured in
the contents. These creative
collaborations are a music piece
“Together” by Seth Glier Trio
and a hang drum artists Duulal.B.
Anotherinternationalco-creations
to highlight are “Held Together”
by Aberdeen an American band
featuring Redline, rapper A.Billi
featuring lady rappers from
Mongolia Khulan & Bisuunee in
her “Nothing But A Lot” song,
a production of Wise Weapon.
Moreover “Arts From Home”
creates a platform for different
genres to fuse and to produce new
performances such as “Dayan”
composition by Davaajargal
Ts. and an onsite impromptu
dance piece called “Wave”
by choreographer Sodgerel T.
Duets of Beatboxer Ray and
zither player Amarbayasgalan
Ch., a novel interpretation of an
American music by Robert Tate,
PAO of the US Embassy and a
horse head fiddle player Jigjiddorj
N and cover performances of
emerging Mongolian bands such
as Something is Brewing were
also featured performers of these
series.
