Member Name: Christie Stalcup Service Site: Central City Community Outreach Site Location: Los Angeles, CA Project Description: Christie Stalcup was a TMC member with Central City Community Outreach Programs in Los Angeles, CA. During her time with Central City Christie worked intensely with young children in an array of academic and extracurricular activities. Her final project is a detailed blueprint on how to facilitate one of Central City's most important activities, an annual trip to Central City's executive director's home in in Arleta, CA. This event is one of the few times that students at the site, their parents, volunteers, and executives from Central City get the opportunity to bond with one another and celebrate the progress that the children at the sites have made with the help of TMC members. This projects details every part of the planning process and discusses the impact that this activity has on the moral and growth of the children at the site and TMC members alike.
