 Took immediate corrective steps to stem the rot. The showrooms were obsolete, decor decaying and watch
models were ageing with high MRP. There was huge 20% price difference between Muscat and Dubai, hence
significant business was getting lost to small time operators who had been taking full advantage of the situation,
at our expense. I bought back the prices at par with Oriental Stores Dubai, with the help of Principal. This move
itself resulted in increased sales of 8-10% in the next few months.
 Face lifted 7 showrooms, added 1 more in Bahja shopping Mall. Introduced Gold watches in the market. Got
Gold watches on consignment basis from Principal that were later successfully sold from our showrooms.
 Secured Principal participation in the first ever hugely successful Rado sales, with free giveaways, that helped
remove ageing stock (NSV Omani Riyal 100, 000.00). The entire ageing stock was sold at cost price and with a
free gift as well! It resulted in increased revenue from after sales service as well, through servicing and battery
replacement cost! All the showrooms were replenished with new merchandise that helped restore brand image
and prestige.
 Executed biggest ever Institutional Sales Promotion of Rado watches with Nissan cars (Omani Riyal 260,000.00)
 Annual Turnover increased by 20% at the end of 3 years.
 Trained and Mentored staff on Selling skills and Product Development.
