9. Mini Reflection
★ Google slides can help share new digital resources and tools for learning
because it has so many features that students and teachers can use and learn
from. Some tools include making digital posters, making assessments where
students can choose an answer on slides, using hyperlinks to gather
information and organize information, annotate screenshots, use commenting
features to take notes and are able to make diagrams.
★ Google Classroom helps promote curiosity and critical examination because
there are so many features google classroom has that are interesting to find,
examine and use. Google classroom allows files to be shared between
students and teachers, as well as help us stay organized- google classroom
allows us to create assignments, make announcements, grade, store materials
and share files. Students and teachers both get to examine google classroom
and learn about all the unique features and tools, increasing our curiosity
about this classroom and the future possibilities it allows.

★ The benefits of using presentation platforms such as google slides are that
these platforms allow us to make presentations that are interactive and
promote learning. These presentations could include diagrams, tables, charts,
links, videos and interactive tools. It also allows for collaboration- it is easy to
access and edit slides, even when you are at different locations
★ Some challenges are that importing material from powerpoint or other word
docs may not transfer correctly- you may have to reformat on google slides.
Exporting may not work correctly or how you want it either. Students may also
get distracted because there are so many tools and features on google slides.
