Dit jaar is Google Glass commercieel uitgerold naar consumenten. Alhoewel er een hoop ophef over is, stellen veel bedrijven zich nog steeds de vraag ‘moeten we daar nou wat mee?’. En zo ja, hoe dan? mobtzu heeft haar eerste Glass App inmiddels ontwikkeld in de vorm van een demo app die in april tijdens de Overheid en ICT beurs in Utrecht te bewonderen was. Is jouw bedrijf ook Google Glass ready?
Naast een interactieve presentatie over Google Glass met een live demo vertelden we wat we van het segment wearables en The Internet of Things verwachten. Hierbij hebben we ook een live demo van beacons laten zien. De nieuwe technologie waarmee bedrijven in staat zijn om hun service op de vierkante meter nauwkeurig te pinpointen in bijvoorbeeld een winkel of ziekenhuis, en zo hun klanten op een geheel nieuwe manier kunnen bedienen.
Tenslotte hebben we tijdens the breakfast club ook stil gestaan bij het ‘mobile moment’ dat voor veel Nederlandse bedrijven niet ver weg meer is. Het mobile moment is het moment dat er meer klanten gebruik maken van je dienst via het mobiele kanaal dan via desktop of laptop. Dit is natuurlijk allang geen nieuws meer, maar waarom wordt het dan toch nog niet massaal omarmd door bedrijven in Nederland? Bekijk het hier in onze presentatie!
