3. MMDP: Who are we?
• The Multimedia Design & Production
(MMDP) degree is designed to prepare
students to work in a variety of settings as
graphic designers, Web designers, desktop
publishers, and graphic art technicians.
Graduates will able to plan, analyze, and
create visual solutions to produce Web sites,
printed materials, and interactive online
experiences.
• There are three main options for obtaining
an Associates Degree within the
Multimedia Design and Production Degree
• Animation/Game Design
• Video and Web Production
• Print/Web
4. Animation/Game Design
• Facutly: John Gabriel
• Students in the Animation/Game
Design track are prepared to create
animated graphics applicable to:
gaming, marketing, advertising,
educational, and various other
types of interactive media that use
3D animation.

8. Bachelors of Technology in
Applied Design
• In the Fall of 2009, LWTC began offering its first ever
Bachelors degree in Applied Design
• Created for students with Associate degrees in Design related
fields who want to complete their bachelor’s degree
• Classes provide theoretical concepts to back up technical skills.
• With the introduction of the degree, Lake Washington
Technical College now has a pathway to take students from
High School all the way through a Bachelor’s Degree.
