1. ?--Generational Curses--?

iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the
son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the

(Exod 20:5) Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I
the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers
upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate
me;
(Num 14:18) The LORD is longsuffering, andof great mercy, forgiving
iniquityand transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting
the iniquityof the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth
generation.
(Deut 5:9) Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for
I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers
upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate
me, (Jer 32:17-18)
I. Sickness, sorrow
(Lev 26:14-17) But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these
commandments;
15) And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments,
so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my
covenant:
16) I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror,
consumption, and the burningague, that shall consume the eyes, and
cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies
shall eat it.

2. 17) And I will set my face againstyou, and ye shall be slain before your
enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when
none pursueth you.
II. Crops (economy)
(Lev 26:18-20) And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will
punish you seven times more for your sins.
19) And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven
as iron, and your earth as brass:
20) And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your landshall not yield
her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.
III. Crime (rob you)
(Lev 26:21-22) And if ye walk contraryunto me, and will not hearken unto
me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you accordingto your sins.
22) I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your
children, anddestroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your
high ways shall be desolate.
IV. Sword
(Lev 26:23-25) And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but
will walk contraryunto me;
24) Then will I also walk contraryunto you, and will punish you yet seven
times for your sins.
25) And I will bringa sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my
covenant: and when ye are gatheredtogether within your cities, I will send
the pestilence among you; and ye shall be deliveredinto the hand of the
enemy.
V. Perish (vs30)
(Lev 26:27-39) And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk
contraryunto me;
28) Then I will walk contraryunto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise
you seven times for your sins.
29) And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters
shall ye eat.

3. 30) And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and
cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor
you.
31) And I will make your cities waste, and bringyour sanctuaries unto
desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.
32) And I will bringthe land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell
therein shall be astonishedat it.
33) And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword
after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.
34) Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and
ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her
sabbaths.
35) As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your
sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.
36) And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into
their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf
shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeingfrom a sword; and they shall
fall when none pursueth.
37) And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when
none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
38) And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies
shall eat you up.
39) And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquityin your
enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine
away with them.

iniquityof Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offeringfor

and Phinehas, were slain.
(Amos 2:4) Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for
four, I will not turn away the punishmentthereof; because they have
despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and
their lies causedthem to err, after the which their fathers have walked:

The warning unheeded:
(1Kgs 11:2) Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the
children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in
unto you: for surelythey will turn away your heart after their gods:
Solomon clave unto these in love.
Destruction: without possibility of remedy
(1Kgs 11:11) Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is
done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenantand my statutes, which I
have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will
give it to thy servant.
(Prov29:1) He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall
suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

5. (Prov 30:11-14)
11) There is a generation 1) that curseth their father, and doth not bless
their mother.
12) There is a generation 2) that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not
washedfrom their filthiness.
13) There is a generation 3), O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids
are lifted up.
14) There is a generation 4), whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth
as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from
among men.
(Prov 30:18,20)
There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I
know not:
20) Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her
mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.

cumbereth it the ground?
8) And he answeringsaidunto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I
shall dig about it, and dung it:
9) And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

II. (Rom 1:24-25) Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness
through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies
between themselves:
25) Who changedthe truth of God into a lie, and worshippedand served
the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
III. (Rom 1:26-27) For this cause God gave them up unto vile
affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that
which is against nature:
27) And likewise also the men, leavingthe natural use of the woman,
burnedin their lust one toward another; men with men workingthat which
is unseemly, and receivingin themselves that recompence of their error
which was meet.
IV. (Rom 1:28-31) And even as they did not like to retain God in their
knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those
things which are not convenient;
29) Beingfilled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity;
whisperers,
30) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil
things, disobedient to parents,
31) Withoutunderstanding, covenantbreakers, withoutnatural affection,
implacable, unmerciful:
V. (Rom 1:32) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which
commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but
have pleasure in them that do them.

10. Isa 1:16-20
16) Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from
before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17) Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the
fatherless, plead for the widow.
18) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your
sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like
crimson, they shall be as wool.
19) If ye be willingand obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20) But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for
the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
(Heb 12:1) Wherefore seeingwe also are compassedabout with so great a
cloud of witnesses,let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so
easilybeset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
