 An electronic lock (or electric lock) is a locking
device which operates by means of electric current.
 Electric locks are sometimes stand-alone with an
electronic control assembly mounted directly to the
lock.

 There are many advantages to Electronic Door Lock

 Allow only authorized personnel to enter into secure
areas
 This will negate the need to issue keys and to change
the locks when the keys are lost or stolen.

8. DISADVANTAGES
There are also some downsides.
Traditionally, an electronically locking is more
expensive than traditional locks.
It can be hacked.
Power source is needed.
It can be jammed.
