This application note presents an ion chromatographic method for the simultaneous determination of mineral acids, fluoride, and silicate in etching baths used in solar cell production, combining conductivity and spectrophotometric detection. The method allows for efficient analysis of key components such as HF and HNO3, and the results are validated through titration. The approach not only extends the life of etching baths but also ensures cost-effectiveness and environmental protection in the manufacturing process.
