The Milwaukee Art Museum was originally designed by famous architect Eero Saarinen. In 2001, Santiago Calatrava designed a $50 million architectural enhancement that was named "Building of the Year 2001" by Time magazine. The enhancement features wings that can open and close to regulate sunlight, and the museum has an impressive art collection.
