understand.
False 2. The operating system controls and manipulates the data that produce information.
False 3. In year 1962 when Blaise Pascal started to establish the calculating machine.
True 4. Raw data is received from an input device immediately after it has been entered by a user and
through data can also be retrieved for processing from a storage device.
True 5. Microprocessor is a computer processor when data processing logic and control is included on
a single integrated circuit.
Test IV. Enumeration. (10 points)
1. Give 5 functions of software? (Based on the notes that I provided)
 It protects the hardware from the damage
 It erases operational in the computer
 it interfaces directly to the user and computer
 it measures and determined the system performance
 it interfaces one elements with another
2. Give the 5 functions of hardware? (Based on the notes that I provided)
 Input device – responsible for entering data to the computer system it include mouse,
keyboard etc
 Process – this where the data turned into the information after a process through the process
and conduct of the central processing unit also known as CPU
 Output – the end result of the information that have been display in the user after the
processing
 Storage – this where the information stored in and is capable of retaining data before and after
have been process it include RAM, SSD, HDD and etc
 Control – this is the one responsible for conducting organization and the flow of data that
from central processing unit and this device is primary responsible for the operation in the
control unit portion of the CPU and is responsible for retrieving data from ram and then
transfer to the CPU for processing and then returning it to the storage or memory once is
completely process into the information
