Modernizing Enterprise Content Management with Microsoft Content Services
SharePoint content services (ECM): What's new and what's coming
See firsthand how we continue to push Enterprise Content Management (ECM) forward into the modern content services world. SharePoint in the cloud is far more performant than classic server-based platforms. In this session, get a tour of our latest and upcoming innovations for reusing, creating, collaborating, and protecting information through its lifecycle. SharePoint has numerous key ECM capabilities (intake, content types, bulk edits, retention, data governance labels) across each of these scenarios to make content management easier and more manageable.

In this session, Agnes overviews the latest updates, upcoming features and future vision, and helps you to define what, where and why you have to update. She also helps you plan to get the most out of Microsoft Search - both in short and long term
Full Trust Solution Development in SharePoint 2013Ed Musters
My presentation on the full trust solution model in SharePoint 2013 for SharePoint Saturday Montreal Feb 2 2013. The premise is you developed full trust solutions in SP 2007 / 2010 and wish to leverage that skillset or legacy solutions in an on premise situation.
ECS2019 - Managing Content Types in the Modern WorldMarc D Anderson
When the order of the day was huge, pyramid-shaped Site Collections for capabilities like Intranets, managing your Content Types was relatively easy: any Site Columns and Content Types you built in the root site were available throughout the Site Collection. When we needed more enterprise-wide information architecture, we turned to the Content Type Hub. In our new, flatter world, we need to think about information architecture differently – while hanging onto the better practices of the past.
SharePoint Online vs On-premises vs Hybrid – 2016 editionRene Modery
With SharePoint 2013, Microsoft added hybrid capabilities, allowing organizations to connect their existing on-premises environments to Office 365. SharePoint 2016 expands these capabilities a bit. But in which scenarios is this helpful? How much has changed in the past few years? When does a hybrid scenario make sense, and what are its limitations?

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.
Gopinath Rebala
Gopinath Rebala is the CTO of OpsMx, where he has overall responsibility for the machine learning and data processing architectures for Secure Software Delivery. Gopi also has a strong connection with our customers, leading design and architecture for strategic implementations. Gopi is a frequent speaker and well-known leader in continuous delivery and integrating security into software delivery.
