The Metro Bus project for twin cities in Pakistan began in March 2014 with an initial budget of Rs 34.80 billion but exceeded its budget, costing Rs 44.94 billion total. The project benefits a small portion of Pakistan's population of 200 million people. Given Pakistan's poor financial condition and high illiteracy rates, taking on more debt to fund such an expensive project is unwise when basic needs are not being met and countries like Pakistan are relying on international monetary organizations for survival. Resources would be better spent on priorities like education, healthcare, and infrastructure instead of luxury projects.

started on 23rd March 2014 and
expectations of its ending are in January
2015 which seems difficult.

4. The project started with the initial
budget of Rs 34.80 billion but later on
it exceeded the limit of Rs 44.94
billion.

5. A project leading Pakistan to so-
called development……….

6. Rwp/Islmbd&Lahore Metro project is
covering hardly 1 crore Pakistanis out
of 20 crore population of Pakistan.
Do remaining 19 crores don’t deserve
it?????????

7. Now let have a glance at the
Financial condition, Educational
status of Pakistan.
A country begging for its
survival to IMF can’t afford such
type of projects. A country
where each new born baby is
debtor of 1,00,000 to west, how
they can afford such project?

9. If we try to compare Metro with
some example then here it is
one of them……

10. If a man wearing clothes with
shredders is gifted branded
perfume.
What will be your opinion about
the man who gifted him perfume?

11. I am sure that majority will call him
mad because in our opinion he
should gift him clothes first, then
perfume.
Same is here …Public is needy of
food, house and respect, then
anything else. While Metro is not
going to pay any one of above.

12. When our honorable CM was asked
about Metro he replied “First there must
be roads then institutes that you can go
there”
Which university in Rawalpindi/
Islamabad don’t have roads to access it
but sir there is none where I can get
education freely or on low prices.

13. How much worth or development this
Metro will give you??????
Nothing will be most worthy than
thousands of graduates.
Metro cant earn as much as we have
to pay interest on the loan we own for
this blind project.

14. Please rather taking loan, rely on your own
resources. We will be happy
If you use 20 billion except 44 billion on
public but construct universities, dams and
factories
FEWER BUT RESPECTED
because we don’t like to be known as a
beggar nation.

15. And the debts which we have on interest is also
battle against Allah. Islam strictly forbidden Riba in
our dealings.

17. Conclusion
I don’t say that its not a good project. It is good and fruitful but not
for the nations who are having a miserable economy.
First gift us the essentials of life then we will be able to enjoy and
afford such projects.
Dear CM you always raise your hand proudly saying that
“I have completed the fly overs or Metro in record time”.
Ever you completed educational institutes in record
