Meeting in Croatia 19.-23.11.2018
Surveys
Elina will send results of the beginning survey to each school. Based on those results each school will figure
out at least one improvement goal based on beginning survey. Goal should be the concrete and achievable.
Outcome of setting a goal should be something that school can affect, really work for and be better.
There’s no point to set up goals which are out of schools reach. We would like to get your goals by the end
of this year.
Next survey will be headed only to teachers on February. If you have ideas what to ask or have ready
questions according to physical health, please, send them to us
Agenda
The chosen Agenda Global Goals in “Teachers well-being" are: 3. Good health and well-being, 4. Quality
education, 5. Gender equality, 8. Decent work and economic growth, 9. Industry, innovation and
infrastructure, 10. Reduced inequalities and 17. Partnerships for the goals. Presentation from the meeting
is in the attachments.
Activities
Remember to do all the planned activities before next meeting in February.
Meetings
Portugal will send detailed information about visit to Corvo in May 2019. We might even begin from the
other island, Flores and then head to Corvo.
Next meeting will be held in Finland at February (18.-22.2.2019). We will start to search for hotels any day
now and will inform you about the alternatives and prices later. If somebody wants to stay for example in
Helsinki for a weekend or go to Rovaniemi to meet Santa Claus we can help you to arrange that. Plane from
Helsinki to Oulu takes an hour and by train it’s 6 to 8 hours. Rovaniemi is few hours from Oulu by train.
Blog
Blog could be for more professional articles. Themes for articles in this theme could be for example stress,
conflicts in communication or good management. Each school will write one article from each theme.
Article should be about 500-1000 words. The blog will be established during the Christmas break. We will
give you more detailed instructions then but in case you already have idea what kind of article you would
like to write please let us know!
Logo and mascot
Ana will send us the winner logo. From now on it will be used in every official paper. All the schools will
design and create mascot. Each school will select one and take it with them to Finland where we will
choose the mascot for the project.
Management of the project
Project coordinators will send email to every school at least once a month. In email will be short look of
where are we now, what is needed to be done etc. Coordinators will contact partners also when they
haven’t done activities. Between each meeting coordinators will be in face to face -contact with each
school via skype.
Elina will open meetings and activities to Mobility tool at least one theme at the time. Each school will fill in
mobility tool by themselves.
Implementation
Implementation is essential part of the project. The main point of the implementation is to spread
information about the influence of the project. What we have learned about well-being and what the
project has given to us. It is important to tell about the project in all possible meetings, among the
colleagues etc. One way to spread the information for parents is Erasmus day. Erasmus day can be part of
schools' normal activities like parental evening or theme days. Every school will have Erasmus day once a
school year.
Every school will add links to the project webpage and to the blog on the school's webpage.
Booklet
Austria is responsible for the booklet. During the project they will collect materials for the booklet.
For introduction of the project and presenting the Global Goals we can use for example texts from the
application. Each activity will be presented at the booklet: at least the aim (can be copied from the
application) and description how each country carried activity out. For meetings we will have own pages.
From the surveys we can collect comments what we learnt. Host school will write short description from
thematic workshops.
For the booklet we can utilise texts (and pictures) from application, TwinSpace and webpage but each
school will take care that they produce material to the booklet. It would be nice if we could add quotes
from pupils and teachers.
Here is link for a booklet that school from our city produced. Their project also based on Agenda but they
had more scientific project, so we don’t need to have this wide booklet. We gave a paper copy of this
booklet to Austria.

We all will write to the booklet and Austria will collect and decide for example layout.
Sharing pictures
We forgot to talk about this in the meeting. For example, in Finland some parents in various reasons are
strict that pupils picture, name, etc. Information can’t be found on the internet. Each school will collect
permits from pupils whose picture can be published on the internet. In case this isn’t problem in your
school or you already have permits to publish pictures then everything is alright. We hope that you don’t
publish pictures (especially if you can recognize pupils face) on the internet in case you aren’t sure if pupil’
have permit.
