Over the past year of their AS media course, the student has become more skilled in using various technologies to create professional-looking media products. They have learned how to use software like InDesign to design magazines that could be sold commercially. Their initial school magazine only reached an audience of 1,000 students, but through market research and an online blog, their final magazine now has the potential for a worldwide audience. The student spent significant time researching conventions of music magazines to include standard features and create an aesthetically pleasing and professional product.
