all media text by corporations. 
 There are several media monopolies 
including, Time warner, AOL, Walt Disney, 
Viacom, And News corp. 

 There is controversy in the idea of media 
monopolisation in that it will make a lack of 
verity in the medias, more censorships of 
certain issues and higher prices of media 
content.
 News corp are a media institution responsible 
for companies(subsidiaries) such as The sun, 
Foxtel, Mercury, The Times And Fox Sport 
 Run by Rupert Murdoch(Executive chairman) 
and Lachlan Murdoch(Non executive 
chairman) They are a multinational news 
corp spreading through countries such as 
America, England, Australia, Japan, and 
Indonesia.
 Rupert Murdoch is a Media mogul 
 Media moguls are people who control media 
enterprises whether through personal 
ownership or dominant positioning in the 
company. 
 Rupert Murdoch runs News corps and 
all It’s subsidiaries.
 Theories such as The hypodermic needle 
theory and Two step flow theory would 
suggest that this is a negative as if only one 
opinion is expressed to a mass audience it 
will become the one the majority of people 
believe, limiting public opinion. 
 It would also make a lack of original content 
in the media which could destroy the 
industry.
