Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and

- 1. MEDIA EVALUATION In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

THE ANTAGONIST Although our film introduction was done on a extremely low budget even in comparison to small independent film companies, I feel as though we have matched the conventions to that of films that we had watched and analysed. For example: In the opening of the film 'Se7en' we see the antagonist almost immediately but we do not get a clear shot of him. Even though in out opening we don't see the antagonist at all we still get a connection with them as we know the antagonist has something to do with the murders in the woods. As we know the antagonist will play a big part in this film as he is shown in the beginning.
- 3. LIGHTING Aside from sound and other features. Lighting can play a massive role in a Horror film in order to create suspense and tension. In our film we had purposely filmed just as it was getting dark. This was timed so that it was not dark enough for our budget cameras to capture a good image, but also done for it too be dark enough in order to create a decent intensity for the opening of our film. For Example: In these two shots the lighting has been chosen to 'hide' certain aspects of the shot in order to create tension and make the viewer feel vulnerable. In order to make them suspect something scary to happen. After all this is the main aspect to a Horror genre.
- 4. CHARACTERS Characters can be in some films the MOST important factor of a film. Some people watch films just because of who is staring in them such as 'Rihanna' who has recently starred in the film 'Battleship'. But typically in a horror film you would get a stuck up male, a 'damsel' female, a strong independent female and a strong Male who is usually the Hero. This is shown in the film 'The Wrong Turn' Here we can see a clear similarity in our film and in the professional film. As we have the clear 2 sets of positive and negative charcters.
