Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.

Media evaluation
- 1. How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
- 2. Blogger To upload all the research, planning and construction and evaluations of my product I used Blogger. I have used Blogger before for my AS coursework so it was very easy for me to use.
- 3. Mac’s To do all my work on I used an Apple Mac computer where it contained many programmes that I used in the construction of my short film. I learnt how to use the Mac’s more like how exporting a movie and how to save documents.
- 4. Garageband To compose the music we used in our film ‘Forgetting’ I used a new programme that is on the Mac called Garageband where you can compose your own music. This is the first time that I used Garageband and found it very easy to use. - 5. imovie Imovie is the programme that I used to construct my final piece, my rough drafts and my audience reviews. I had used it before for a beginning task that we did before we broke up, butt I still learnt a lot more. We had Mr Eaton come into class, (who is our technician at school) to teach us about how to use imovie. This was very useful otherwise, we wouldn’t know what we were doing! I also learnt how to pick out certain lyrics in a song to place at certain scenes. I didn’t realise that so much editing was done on imovie. We also put transitions and text using this programme.
- 6. Internet Yes it is a tad obvious but it is a media technology. I used the internet to research a lot about my products. I used the main websites needed: www.google.com www.wikipedia.com www.blogger.com
- 7. Picnik To get the good effects on these photos Ashleigh and I used a programme called picnik on the internet where it was free to edit your photos. We put ours n black and white as you can see and created the effect of the back rimmed around the photo.
- 8. Slide share To upload the slide shows I used for my evaluation, I used slideshare to upload onto my blog.
- 9. Camcorder To film all of our footage I used a Panasonic hard drive camcorder then uploaded it onto the Macs via USB lead.
